Petitioners Conduct

Definition:
Way in which petitioner’s acts during protest.
“To profess neutrality or friendship toward the goals of the dissenters also expressing doubt about the methods they employ, it is time to attempt a serious assessment of the situation” (15)
“1 ) in an orderly society, there must be prescribed times, places, and manners for protest
2)  if not justified the protest counts as an invasion of privacy to others
3) under certain circumstances they may place an undue strain upon the community’s resources or may conflict with other community interests” (16)
Example:
“ 1) Critics point out that two of the leading spokesmen for the libertarian view regarding freedom of speech, philosopher Alexander Mieklejohn and Supereme Court Justice Hugo Black, have  supported the principle. ( to ptofess neutrality or friendship toward the goals of dissenters….) “ (15)

“More specifically, they argue that protest is not justified if it constitutes an invasion of privacy.. A prime example is the series of amrches of August, 1965, led by negro comedian Dick Gregory to and around the home of Mayor Richard J. Daley in Chicago’s Bridgeport section, an area of modest middle- class homes. “ (15)
