Anti-Globalization

Who/What?: This is a group of people dedicated to fighting big corporations and the ideals they stand for. These individuals believe that global financial organizations such as the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) use their power to get away with things that small businesses could not, such as move freely across borders, extract desired natural resources, access to wide selection of human resources, as well as cutting costs to make money in turn for hazardous work environments in overseas warehouses.

When?: This group has been protesting since the late 80's

Where? Across the world.

Why?: They do it to fight the social injustices that big corporations get away with because of their money and stature.

This group fights to stop big corporations from being able to get a away with terrible injustices on a global scale. The identity they all share is wanting equality from an overpowered upper class, that uses their power to do whatever they want. Examples of this could be Nike "allegedly" using sweatshops Taiwan and South Korea, a big corporation using its ridiculous amount of money to cut costs and increase profit at the expense of hazardous underpaid sweatshops.
