WHO/WHAT: Thousands of people marched through London streets, protesting Britain's decision to leave Europe - called the Brexit. People carried signs with various messages, such as "Bremain" and "We Love EU."
WHERE: London, York, and various other cities in Britain.
WHEN: July 2, 2016
WHY: Their march was meant to stop the British government from going ahead and signing the Brexit into action. These people believed that they were stronger while being attached to Europe, and therefore being separated from them would therefore cause them to be weaker.
IDENTITY: This march gave an identity to the English people in general, but more specifically to those who shared similar ideas. The huge number of people that marched through the streets seemed to beg the people - especially the government - to reconsider, showing them the true mass of people who were against the separation from Europe. The march created more of an identity between these people who all shared the same mindset.
