1. The authors see that it turned out to be a violent riot when it was supposed to be a peaceful protest.
2. The non violent protesters wanted change but because of the way the media was building up the violence they were not able to bring about change.
3. Yes, because the media can dictate what is being shown. They can make give a different reason as to why something is happening without giving all of the truth.
4. The media portrays the violence in a way that the audience cares more about the protest than what they are actually protesting.
