Bob Dylan - The Times They Are A Changing

Bob Dylan- Times They Are A Changing
^^^^^^ Link to the song.

Who/What: This is a song written in the 1960's shortly after the JFK assassination where Bob Dylan basically described his views about the world based upon what he was seeing.

Where: The song hits home anywhere as it talks about how times are changing and its about how people need to adapt. This can be heard in the beginning when he sings "Admit that the waters around you have grown, and accept it that soon you'll be drenched to the bone. If your time to you is worth savin, then you better start swimming or you'll sink like a stone."

When: The song was written in 1964.

Why: Dyllan wrote it as an anthem for change. Many people today still believe everything the song says rings true, maybe even more so today than back when first written.
